Refund Policy

Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy

  1. Overview

  • We want you to love your posters. If something isn’t right, we’ll work to fix it quickly.

  • This policy applies to purchases on cheapsheet.in and at our offline stores (see Section 10 for in-store).

    2. Return and refund window

  • Online orders: Return or exchange eligible items within [3] days of delivery.

  • Report transit damage, manufacturing defects, or wrong items within [48 hours] of delivery (with photos/video).

  • Items must be unused, in original condition and packaging (tube/box), with the invoice

    3. Items eligible for return

  • Standard posters and eligible accessories that are unused and in original packaging.

  • Not eligible:

    • Customized or personalized prints, made-to-order sizes, and special finishes

    • Items marked “Final Sale” or “Clearance”

    • Used, damaged, or altered items (e.g., trimmed posters, tape/glue marks, creases from improper handling)

    • Frames or adhesives once opened/used (if applicable)

    4. Color and size variation

  • Minor differences in color/contrast or print cropping can occur due to screen settings and print runs. Such variations are not considered defects unless significantly outside our quality standards.

    5. Damaged, defective, or wrong item received

  • Contact us within [24 hours] with your order ID and unboxing photos/video.

  • We will offer a free replacement or a full refund (including any shipping fee) once verified.

  • If a replacement is unavailable, you can choose a refund.

    6. Cancellations

  • Before dispatch: Free cancellation—full refund to original payment method.

  • After dispatch: Treat as a return (see Sections 2 and 7). Shipping charges are non‑refundable for buyer’s remorse cancellations after dispatch.

    7. Return shipping and pickups

  • We offer courier pickup in selected PIN codes. Where pickup isn’t available, please self‑ship using a trackable service.

  • Return shipping fees:

    • Our error (damaged/defective/wrong item): We cover pickup or reimburse reasonable courier charges against receipt.

    • Change of mind/size or design preference: You pay return shipping. Original shipping fee is non‑refundable.

    • Packaging: Use the original tube/box to prevent transit damage. Returns received damaged due to poor packing may be declined.

    8. How to start a return

  • Include: Order ID, reason, photos/video (for damage/defect), and pickup address.

  • We’ll confirm eligibility, share return instructions or schedule a pickup, and keep you updated.

    9. Refund methods and timelines

  • We initiate refunds after we receive and inspect the return (or once a damage claim is verified if a return isn’t required).

  • Typical timelines after initiation:

    • UPI: 1–3 business days

    • COD orders: Refunded via UPI/bank transfer within 2–4 business days after we collect your details

  • You’ll receive a confirmation once the refund is processed. Bank posting times may vary.

    10. Offline (in‑store) purchases

  • Returns/exchanges within [3] days at the same store with the original invoice, unused condition, original packaging.

    11. Undeliverable or refused shipments (RTO)

  • If an order is returned to us due to incorrect address, repeated delivery attempts failed, or refusal on delivery:

    • We can reship (additional shipping may apply), or

    • Refund the product price minus shipping/handling fees actually incurred. COD convenience fees (if any) are non‑refundable.

    12. Bundles, freebies, and discounts

  • Free gifts or bundle components must be returned together. If kept, we deduct the standalone price of the kept item(s).

  • If a promo code set a minimum order value and your return drops the order below that value, the discount may be reversed proportionately.

13. Fair use

  • We monitor excessive or abusive return behavior (e.g., frequent used‑item returns). We may limit services or refuse returns where misuse is suspected, in line with applicable law.

14. Warranty

  • Posters are intended for indoor use. No separate warranty is offered beyond this policy and your statutory rights.

15. How to pack posters for return

  • Place the poster in its sleeve (if any), roll gently, and place in the original tube. Do not fold.

  • Include the invoice or a note with your order ID and contact details

16. Legal

  • We aim to comply with the Consumer Protection (E‑commerce) Rules, 2020.
